If this voltage limit is exceeded, the load is switched off (or an additional load can be connected to the power take-off). The load is automatically switched on (off) as soon as the voltage drops to the upper voltage limit minus the voltage drop (hysteresis) after the set response time. That is, if the upper limit is set to 253 V and the hysteresis is 10 V, the load will be turned off when 253 V is exceeded, and if it drops to 243 V, the load will be turned on after the set response time (from 0 to 10 seconds).<\/p>\n<p>Reducing the voltage in a photovoltaic installation is important for safety and efficiency reasons.<br \/>\n Too high a voltage can cause overvoltage and damage to the installation and devices connected to it. Surges can arise when there is a sudden increase in power or decrease in resistance in a circuit.
